Chiropractic Adjustment

Chiropractic adjustments are gentle, precise techniques designed to restore balance and movement in your body. Whether focused on the spine, joints, or cranial system, each adjustment is tailored to help ease tension, support your nervous system, and encourage your body’s natural ability to heal and function at its best.

Our Holistic Approach

Every adjustment is tailored to you. Sometimes your body needs the precision of a spinal correction, other times a gentle cranial release, or support in a shoulder or ankle. By working with the spine, extremities, and cranial-fascial system together, chiropractic care helps your body find balance, ease, and resilience.

Spinal Adjustment

A spinal adjustment is a precise, gentle movement applied to a joint in your spine. It helps restore healthy motion, reduce stiffness, and ease pressure on surrounding nerves and muscles.
Research shows spinal adjustments can be effective for back pain, neck pain, and certain headaches. Many people also feel lighter, more flexible, and more at ease after care.

Cranial Adjustment

The skull is made up of many bones joined by seams called sutures. These bones, along with the membranes inside, can influence how the brain and nervous system function. Cranial adjustments use very gentle pressure on the head, jaw, and upper neck to release tension patterns, support fluid flow, and restore natural balance. Patients often find this helpful for issues such as jaw tension, headaches, or stress-related strain.

Sacro-Occipital Technic (SOT)

SOT) is a specialised chiropractic method that focuses on the relationship between the pelvis, spine, and skull, and how this relationship influences the nervous system. The sacrum (base of the spine) and the occiput (base of the skull) are connected through protective tissues surrounding the brain and spinal cord.
When this system becomes imbalanced—often due to stress, injury, or posture—it can affect nerve communication and fluid movement around the brain and spine. SOT uses gentle assessments and supportive positioning to help the body restore balance naturally, improving stability, coordination, and overall function.

Cranio-Fascial Dynamics (CFD)

Cranio-Fascial Dynamics (CFD), developed by Dr. Jon Howat, focuses on the cranio-fascial system—the fascia and membranes that surround the skull, brain, and spinal cord (including the dural and spinal meninges). These tissues protect the nervous system and guide the natural circulation of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF).

A CFD adjustment involves gentle, precise contacts on the cranium, face, and spine to:
• Release tension in the cranial and spinal meninges
• Support healthy cerebrospinal fluid flow
• Restore the natural relationship between skull, spine, and sacrum
• Enhance nervous system function by easing fascial restrictions throughout the whole body

Because CFD works with the fascia and fluid dynamics of the central nervous system, it is extremely gentle, making it well-suited for patients of all ages, including those who prefer a lighter approach.

Bio-Geometric Integration

BGI is a gentle, energetic/tonal based chiropractic approach that works with the body’s structure, nervous system, and underlying tonal patterns. It recognises that the body is not only mechanical, but also responsive to subtle rhythms, tension patterns, and energetic imprints created by physical stress, emotional experiences, and long-standing strain.
Through light, precise contact and careful listening to the body’s responses, BGI aims to restore coherence and balance within these systems. By helping the nervous system settle and reorganise, this approach supports improved posture, movement, regulation, and the body’s natural ability to adapt and heal.

Beyond the Spine

Your body is a whole, living system—each part connected and influencing the other.

When one area is out of balance, it can affect how your entire body functions.

That’s why we look deeper than symptoms, working to find and address the underlying causes of tension or discomfort.

Back pain, for example, doesn’t always come from the back itself. It may be linked to the spine, the nervous system, the muscles, or even the cranium.

At our clinic, we offer care that goes beyond the spine—helping to restore balance, improve function, and support your body’s natural ability to heal.
